                                               ABOUT THE OWNER

Eric is a retired US Coast Guard Naval Engineering Officer; with 21 years of engineering experience.  He accumulated 14 years of sea time on eight different ships; he has sailed all 5 Great Lakes, the Bearing Sea, North Pacific, South Pacific, South China Sea, Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, and the North Atlantic Ocean.  He spent two tours as a Chief Engineer responsible for all equipment maintenance and repairs. Upon retirement he held two rank's (very unique); Chief Warrant Officer 4, and Lieutenant.

Eric holds a universal EPA certification for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.  He has been trained and gained in depth hands on experience on the following engines: Fairbanks Morse, Alco, CAT, Electro-Motive Diesel, Detroit, Cummings, Yannmar, Volvo-Penta, Paxman, and various small engines and outboards. He is well versed in pumps and piping systems; troubleshooting, designing, rebuilds and alignments. He is certified as a NACE 1, and activly participates in the NACE community.

After retirement Eric and his family set down roots in New Hampshire where he started Nautical Repair & Consulting.
